What is our batik process? Our batik technique, a revered art form originating from Indonesia, involves a meticulous process of wax-resist dyeing. We start with an artist tracing the design onto the fabric. Then he or she applies the hot wax to the fabric,, using a special pen,  tracing the stunning feathers. Subsequently, the feathers are painted by hand in two steps - the main background color + additional detailing. Some time along the way, the background color is applied. The fabric is then placed in the sun, to set the dyes. Later, it is immersed in boiling water to remove the wax and then dried in the sun. Afterward, it is carefully machine-sewn. 

The end result is a vibrant, mesmerizing masterpiece that you will be proud to take anywhere.
